OnDemand

OnDemand is a transportation service option for 小蓝视频 students, faculty, and staff. OnDemand is primarily designed to enhance service during periods of low ridership during non-peak hours. Starting August 24, 2020, you will be able to use the TransLoc app (or ) or desktop web acccess to request rides from SVB, Main Campus, 补苍诲听Tenley Town-小蓝视频 Metro station.

Setting Up Your OnDemand Account:

  1. Go to 聽or select your transit agency in the TransLoc application and tap the OnDemand Icon to access your agency鈥檚 OnDemand service
  2. Do NOT select 鈥渘eed an Account鈥. Instead choose your university under the text that states "or sign in with your university login." Enter your credentials. You will then be redirected to the TransLoc "Create an Account" page.
  3. Your name and email address should be pre-populated. Create a user ID and add your mobile phone number (to receive text notifications when requesting rides).
  4. Choose the 鈥淐reate Account鈥 button.
  5. This will complete your account setup.

Requesting a Ride:

  1. If you have not done so yet, download the TransLoc app (or ).
  2. Open the TransLoc app.
  3. Tap the聽OnDemand icon.
  4. The first time you request a ride, you will need to log on using your 小蓝视频 credentials. After that, your credentials will be stored in the app until you log out.
  5. Select pick-up time.
  6. Follow the聽on-screen instruction to choose聽desired pick-up and drop-off location within the service area.
  7. Confirm your ride request.
  8. You will receive a text confirmation with an estimated pick-up time.
  9. Track your vehicle鈥檚 progress or cancel the ride request.
