Korea University鈥檚 Graduate School of International Studies (KUGSIS) offers one of the leading international relations programs in Korea and Asia. Since its establishment in 1991, KUGSIS has prepared students for leadership roles in governments, international organizations, multinational firms, international financial institutions, and NGOs. Its curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary studies as part of the school鈥檚 commitment to multicultural awareness and international interaction. Students in the Dual Master鈥檚 Degree Program can study with the top experts in their fields and gain new perspectives on international relations from the Korean Peninsula.

Although KU's academic calendar begins in March, dual degree students will join KU after a full year at SIS and start classes at KU during the fall semester.

Courses

Students will enroll as full-time students alongside KUGSIS graduate students after completing their first year at SIS, and can apply up to 15 credits taken at KU toward an SIS degree. Research requirements for each degree must be completed separately, as these credits are not transferable and do not fulfill each respective institution's research degree requirements.

Language Requirement

Courses at KUGSIS are conducted in English.聽

Students also have the opportunity to enroll in Korean language classes.
