Housing License Agreement Release Process
Please be aware that taking all courses remotely, asynchronously or taking a part-time course load are not approved reasons for release from the HLA. Students can continue to live on campus and requests for these reasons will be denied.
This process is available to residents looking for relief of cancellation fees agreed to under the Housing License Agreement. A release is only granted when it has been determined that circumstances are substantially different from the time the HLA went into effect and the situation cannot be relieved by a room change or utilization of campus resources (i.e. medical housing accommodation or Residence Life staff support). Please visit this page for full details on this process and to determine eligibility to apply for this process.
