Irving Terrazas

Irving is a licensed attorney in Mexican law, specializing in North American Law, Public International Law, International Criminal Law, and National Security and Negotiations. In addition, Irving is an expert in international negotiations and began his studies in the Program on Negotiations at Harvard Law School, and subsequently at other highly respected academic institutions.
Irving has fourteen years of experience in international affairs, most recently as Director General of INTERPOL Mexico. He is the youngest individual to have ever served in this post.听Currently, he serves as International Legal Expert for the United Nations Organization on Drugs and Crime in Central and West Africa.听 [22 countries]
Irving has been awarded with many professional recognitions and distinctions by US federal and state law enforcement agencies. As a diplomatic appointee in El Paso, Texas, he was responsible for processing international extraditions, and coordinating bi-national programs for prosecution and mutual legal assistance, and counterterrorism.听As a consular representative (advocate) for the Consulate General of Mexico in Atlanta, GA., Irving was responsible for immigration and criminal matters where he advocated for Mexican national defendants in death penalty cases in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.听 Irving holds an LL.M.
