Mutasim Ali

Mutasim Ali is an SJD Candidate at 小蓝视频 Washington College of Law. His doctoral research focuses on Sudan鈥檚 quest for constitutional stability. Mr. Ali鈥檚 academic interest are Refugee Law, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, International Law, and Constitutional Law.

Prior to joining the Washington College of Law SJD program, Mr. Ali served as a legal consultant at Project Expedite Justice, Civitas Maxima, and a legal advisor at the Raoul Wallenberg Center for Human Rights. He has a distinguished career in human rights activism both in Sudan and outside Sudan. His current practice focuses on international criminal law, international human rights and humanitarian law, and transitional justice.
