Applying to IHRLC - Quick Facts for Students

  • The International Human Rights Law Clinic is a full-year clinic.

  • Students receive seven credits per semester: three for the seminar portion and four for case work.

  • IHRLC is open to second and third year J.D. students.

  • Students who have not yet completed (a) Evidence and (b) at least one human rights, international law, immigration law or asylum law course must聽take those courses while enrolled in IHRLC.

  • IHRLC has a mandatory orientation, usually on the Thursday and Friday before school starts in August.
