Bio

Dionne Savage Williams is founder of Savage & Associates Law Group, P.C. and is a highly sought-after community & economic development deal attorney. Her law firm, which is minority and certified woman-owned, specializes in complex transactional law financings, infrastructure, municipal finance, securities & capital-raising transactions, real estate development, all facets of tax credits and other government programs that revitalize low-income communities. With Philly street smarts, an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to revolutionize the delivery of legal services, Ms. Savage runs a tight ship. The client focused, results-driven firm represents developers, financial institutions and local, state and federal government agencies, including the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (鈥淗UD鈥). By closing more than 250 commercial real estate transactions as an outside closing contractor to HUD and over a billion dollars in financing transactions, she has affectionately earned the title of 鈥淭he Closer.鈥



Ms. Savage appeared as a legal contributor on Philadelphia NBC News and Radio One as a co-host of Philly Speaks with then host E. Steven Collins. As an advocate for change in historically neglected communities, Ms. Savage has served on the boards of the Philadelphia Urban League, Philadelphia Chapter of the Coalition of 100 Black Women, the Voir Dire Justice Project, Lemons to Lemonade, Inc., Evoluer House and the Philadelphia Barristers鈥 Association of Philadelphia, Inc.



Ms. Savage earned her bachelor鈥檚 degree from Temple University and her law degree from 小蓝视频, Washington College of Law in Washington, DC., where she worked in the Community & Economic Development Law Clinic and a Tax Law Dean鈥檚 Fellow. During law school, Ms. Savage interned for U.S. District Court Judge Reggie B. Walton. Afterward, Ms. Savage worked as a corporate and real estate transactional attorney at various Pennsylvania law firms, including Ballard Spahr. Ms. Savage is also an alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program and the Inner City Capital Connections Program.
