Mr. Riley鈥檚 practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling at Mei & Mark LLP, where he is a partner. With an emphasis on patent litigation before U.S. district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and post-grant review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, he has experience litigating in the most popular patent venues, including the Eastern District of Texas, the Northern District of California, and the District of Delaware. Mr. Riley has also represented veterans pro bono before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Riley鈥檚 research and writing focuses on intellectual property law and veterans law. Published in a variety of scholarly journals, including Columbia Science and Technology Law Review; Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal; and the ABA鈥檚 Landslide, his current research and writing focuses on the intersection of intellectual property, administrative law, and international trade law. Mr. Riley is frequently invited to speak on intellectual property law issues both inside and outside the U.S.
