Fabian D. Walters, Jr. (‘06)
Fabian D. Walters, Jr. is a Partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein. He has represented clients in the finance, real estate, health care, technology, transportation, and retail industries, as well as nonprofits and local government entities. He also has significant experience advising on public finance transactions involving tax-exempt and taxable debt, infrastructure and real estate transactions, affordable housing and community development finance, and other complex finance transactions in which he counsel issuers, banks, other institutional lenders, developers, and public and private borrowers.
In addition, Mr. Walters hase extensive experience with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations, as well as general corporate advice. He has also assisted nonprofit and faith-based organizations, foundations, and professional associations with all of their legal needs, from formation to ongoing governance counsel.Â
He is a board member of Itineris, which serves adults with autism in the Baltimore region, and of the Monumental City Bar Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Monumental City Bar Association. He previously served as co-chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Diversity Committee.
Mr. Walters earned his J.D. from СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Washington College of Law as well as an M.B.A. from СÀ¶ÊÓƵ’s Kogod School of Business. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hampton University.
