Marta trevi帽o-leyva

Marta Trevi帽o-Leyva is the Assistant Director of Impact Litigation and the Kovler Project Against Torture. This program plays a crucial role in advancing impactful litigation and contributing to combatting torture globally. Prior to her role as Assistant Director, she supported the work of the Interamerican Commission of Women (CIM, 2023) and the Department of Electoral Cooperation and Observation (DECO, 2017) at the OAS as a volunteer and an intern. She was also part of the advisory committee for Claudio Grossman in his capacity as a member of the UN International Law Commission (2022) and has been a member of his research team in other projects of international relevance. Ms. Trevi帽o-Leyva has worked in the field of Human Rights for almost 15 years in various institutions in Mexico, with a particular interest in women鈥檚 rights. She has also taught a variety of Law subjects at various prestigious Universities in Mexico.
