Lokesh Vyas
INFORMATION JUSTICE FELLOW, ARCADIA PROGRAM
Lokesh is a doctoral candidate at Sciences Po, Paris, examining the聽, with a specific emphasis on Indian Copyright law under the guidance of Prof. S茅verine Dusollier.
Through his research, he is trying to contest and comprehend the evolution of the concept of "public interest" in copyright law since the advent of the first International Copyright Convention, i.e., the Berne Convention, 1886.聽
Lokesh's academic journey began with a law degree at Nirma University,聽India. He completed his LLM at 小蓝视频 Washington College of Law (小蓝视频WCL), where he worked as a research scholar for the Arcadia-funded project on the Right to Research in International Law. He was awarded the InfoJustice Fellowship and Arodhum Scholarship to study LLM.
His overarching interests revolve around knowledge governance and information regulation, and he enjoys delving into these subjects through the lens of Critical Legal Studies (CLS) and Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL).
