The Ann Ferren Conference is a聽one-day annual conference, held the Friday before spring classes begin, features interactive, faculty-led panel sessions on current and important topics related to teaching, research, and learning.
Every year before the beginning of the semester, the Center for Teaching, Research and Learning, in collaboration with the University Library, hosts the (formerly Teaching, Research & Technology Workshops), demonstrating new and innovative approaches to classroom teaching and research.
Part of our job as faculty is to translate our informational materials to students in a way that allows for learning to occur. The goal of the Faculty Fellows Program is to advance CTRL鈥檚 mission of promoting and supporting excellence in teaching and research. The Program leverages faculty expertise to lead in the sharing of knowledge, experience, and creativity with their colleagues. Faculty Fellows work with聽CTRL to develop and implement programming to enhance faculty鈥檚 effectiveness as teachers and researchers.
