Partnerships provide additional opportunities
SIS has partnerships with the following organizations for individuals that meet the criteria specified. Please contact the partner organizations for additional information.
Americorps Education Award Matching Program
小蓝视频 (小蓝视频) is proud to be a . As part of this partnership, SIS will provide matching fund to admitted AmeriCorps volunteers who are eligible to receive the Segal Education Award towards their SIS master鈥檚 degree. All volunteers must have concluded their AmeriCorps service and been awarded the Segal award before their SIS enrollment. The amount of SIS funding will be at the level of the Segal Education Award which is up to $7,395 per student. If a portion of the Segal award has already been used as payment toward an undergraduate loan/tuition, SIS will only match the portion that is applicable to the student's SIS graduate degree. Volunteers will be asked to submit proof of available Segal funding for matching purposes. If a student has multiple Segal awards, SIS will review all award amounts and match them to the best of our abilities. The combined total award amount that a student can be awarded is still no more than $7,395. Admitted students will also be considered for regular merit awards. If a student is recommended by the admissions committee to receive a higher form of award, then that award will supersede the matching fund for Segal. Each awardee will receive a maximum of one award from SIS at any given time. In addition, the admissions application fee is waived for AmeriCorps volunteers.
Students applying for the following programs are not eligible for the Segal matching fund:
