Anti-Corruption Law Summer Program

2024 Housing Information

The Washington College of Law does not provide housing for Summer Program participants. In previous years, participants have chosen to stay in the 小蓝视频 Dormitories or have found housing听on their own.听

DORMITORY OPTION: EAST听CAMPUS -DUBER HALL听

A block of rooms at 小蓝视频鈥檚 dorms have been reserved for participants attending the听Summer Programs. Housing is available in single occupancy rooms on 小蓝视频's East Campus (Duber听Hall).

East Campus - Duber Hall houses students in single rooms with private bathrooms.

Each floor community has a central lounge space with a kitchen, lounge furniture, and television for students to study or socialize with their community. Each floor also has a laundry room. Steps away is East Campus Market, a grab-and-go style food market.

The听听are representative of a given room type. Each space varies based on room sizes and dimensions. Each virtual tour includes some decorative items and a MicroFridge to show what the room looks like when occupied, but these items are not included in rooms.

Please note that there is no cookware in the shared kitchen, except for a microwave and an oven. Additionally, refrigerators are only available to rent, and information on that process can be found on:听. Typically My Fridge Rental needs at least a week of advance notice.

The summer course will be held at the听小蓝视频 Washington College of Law, but housing is available on听小蓝视频's main campus. Please be aware that there are two different campuses.听

小蓝视频 is conveniently located less than a mile away from the Tenleytown-小蓝视频 metro stop and the University offers a free shuttle from main campus to the metro and to WCL throughout the day.

Please note that housekeeping is not available. Additionally, 小蓝视频 only provides linens, a blanket, pillow, pillowcase, and a small towel.听 If you prefer a larger towel or hand towel, please bring one with you. Smoking and drinking alcohol are not permitted in the dormitories.

RATES

  • The nightly rate, including taxes, is $100/night for single occupancy rooms
  • A $50 Administrative Fee will be added to all reservations

HOW TO BOOK A ROOM

Registration Process:

  • All participants must use the following registration听portal:听

  • Registration Portal听听is open now.

  • Registration Portal听will close on Friday, April 26听at 5pm Eastern.

  • Payment in full via credit card is required to complete the registration process.

  • Important Housing Information:

    Housing is available starting on Sunday, June 2.

The Anti-Corruption Law Program听is not affiliated with any designated off-campus accommodation. If you decide to make a reservation, please make sure you have understood all the policies and costs related to your accommodation before making it.听The costs listed below might听change depend on the time and reservation, please double check all the details of your reservation.听

BED & BREAKFAST (B&B): AROUND $75-150/NIGHT

Offer quaint lodging in private rooms with both shared and private bathrooms, depending on price. Bed & Breakfasts usually tailor to those who are looking for comfort, charm, and affordability. Most include shared amenities, such as a shared kitchen, common room, and TV room.

APARTMENT-STYLE ACCOMMODATIONS: PRICES VARY

Accommodations usually include a small kitchen, private bathroom, and bedroom. In apartment-style accommodations; the atmosphere is less like a hotel, and more like a private residence. Apartments are available both unfurnished and furnished. Accommodations of this nature will vary tremendously in both amenities and cost. Browse through options on听听for daily/weekly/monthly sublets. We recommend looking for something available in Tenleytown, Friendship Heights, or Cleveland Park..

MODERATELY PRICED HOTEL: AROUND $100-200/NIGHT

Hotels include more modern day amenities and services than dormitories, budget hotels, and a bed & breakfast. Lodging usually includes a private bathroom, cable television, A/C, restaurant, and guest services. Hotels sometimes include an indoor/outdoor pool, exercise facility, and laundry facilities.

  • Days Inn by Wyndham Washington DC/Connecticut Avenue - starting at $116per night. This Hotel offers a University Rate 10% off rate of day.

LUXURY HOTEL: $200 AND UP/NIGHT

The most luxurious of your options, these hotels usually include many amenities and guest services. Most luxury hotels include luxurious guestrooms with cable TV, A/C, robes, and maid service, as well as fitness facilities, pool, and dining services on site.

HOSTEL: $25 AND UP/NIGHT

The most basic of accommodations, most rooms will be dormitory-style with multiple beds in a shared space. These will be located further from campus, so transportation expenses and time would need to be factored in to your decision. Some have common space, kitchen, meals and internet included. Amenities vary.
